This is a part of our philosophy – to extract raw stones and create pieces without polishing them, in order to preserve their energy and form. That is why there is no single similar stone and no single item is the same. Little scratches, unevenness, and the roughness of the stones make your piece of jewelry one of a kind.

If you need to make any changes to your order, including adjusting and canceling the order, or changing the shipping address, please reach out within 24 hours of placing the order. Kindly note that as our team works hard to get your order dispatched as quickly as possible, we may not be able to cancel or update your order upon request.

Both for local and international shipping we use the Armenian local post office: HAYPOST.

For International orders, delivery will take around 15-21 business days. Please note that we also need processing time for making your jewelry (3-10 business days)

We do not include any invoices or billing information in the package – you can immediately give that piece as a present or ship it to the receiver. If you need an invoice, please email [email protected]

Our items are priced in US dollars, however, we are working on adding other countries and their currencies. Please consult with your bank regarding the current exchange rate.

How should I take care of my jewelry?

While Shahinian Jewelry is designed to last, it will last longer with proper care.  Taking basic measures to protect and care for your jewelry will help to preserve the materials and the finish.

These basic jewelry care techniques can help you protect your Shahinian Jewelry:  Remove your jewelry when using cleaning solvents or applying beauty products. Do not wear your jewelry while swimming or bathing or when exposed to extreme temperatures. Do not expose items to water or moisture, as it can tarnish your jewelry. Store jewelry carefully in a dry, dust-free place such as in its jewelry pouch or box, and keep it separated from other materials so it doesn’t scratch.

Remember that different gemstones may have specific care recommendations, so it’s a good idea to research the specific gemstone in your jewelry for any unique care instructions.

Taking care of gemstones in your jewelry involves a few simple steps:

1. Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Gemstones can be sensitive to extreme heat or cold. Try to avoid exposing them to sudden temperature changes.
2. Avoid Chemicals: Avoid exposing your gemstone jewelry to harsh chemicals like household cleaners, perfumes, or hairsprays. These can damage or dull the gemstones over time.
3. Remove Before Activities: Take off your gemstone jewelry before engaging in activities like sports, gardening, or cleaning. This reduces the risk of accidentally damaging the gemstones
4. Avoid Ultrasonic Cleaners: Ultrasonic cleaners can be too harsh for some gemstones and can cause fractures or other damage. Stick to gentle cleaning methods
5. Check Settings Regularly: If your gemstones are set in prongs, make sure to check the prongs periodically to ensure the stones are secure.
6. Professional Cleaning: Consider getting your jewelry professionally cleaned and inspected by a jeweler annually to maintain its luster and integrity.

Sterling silver is a popular material used in making jewelry due to its durability, luster, and affordability. However, you may have noticed that after wearing a sterling silver ring or bracelet for some time, your skin around the contact area turns green. This can be a frustrating experience and may even discourage you from wearing your favorite jewelry piece.

Presence of copper:  Sterling silver is an alloy made of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Copper can react with moisture, oils, and acids in your skin to produce copper salts, which can leave a green or black mark on your finger.

Skin acidity: The pH level of your skin can affect how sterling silver reacts with it. If your skin is more acidic, it can accelerate the oxidation process of copper, making the black or green discoloration appear faster.

Sweat and moisture: When you sweat, it can react with the copper in sterling silver and cause it to oxidize faster. This reaction can be exacerbated if you wear your sterling silver jewelry in humid environments or while doing physical activities.
